Installation Instructions: 1. Use safety stands under the vehicle or supports when installing the gas struts. It would be easier if someone could help you open the hood or tailgate. 2. Before removing the old gas struts, check the end connection and compare the extended length of your car's old one to ensure they are the same. 3. Use a small flat-headed screwdriver to gently pry open the U-shaped band of the gas struts and remove them. Slowly turn the screwdriver to lift the band approximately 1/8 inch, then pull the struts away from the car. 4. To install the new strut, follow the same process in reverse. If the U-band is not lifted up before installing the new support, it may be damaged. 5. If the ends are not aligned, you may need to rotate the struts. First, connect the shaft end of the bracket to the vehicle, then rotate the entire body of the bracket clockwise to align the ends.

Note: - The support weight of the gas spring is between 9-12 lb (40-27N). - If the temperature is lower than minus 20 degrees, the oil density of the gas spring turns high (frozen) and it is difficult to press down. - Please allow for a 0.5mm difference due to manual measurement.
